Badminton Championship Under 15 and 18

1. Rules of the competition

The above championship organised by Kelab Sukan TPCA shall be played in accordance with Badminton Association and Kelab Sukan TPCA regulations.

2. Eligibility

• Must be a Malaysian citizen
• Tournament age as on 1 January 2013
• All current and ex-national, sports school players are NOT eligible to participate
• First cum first serve basis. The first 32 entries will be accepted and thereafter, the entries will be closed.

3. Invitation

You are cordially invited to participate in our Club�s Centenary Celebration. On this note, there is NO ENTRANCE FEE charges.

4. Own responsibility

Organisors are not responsible for players travel, boarding, lodging, sports equipment, sports attire, refreshment, snacks and meals etc etc.

5. Championship details

• Date: Saturday, 14th and Sunday, 15th December 2013
• Time: 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Venue: New Vision Badminton Academy, No 3, Jalan SS13/1, Section 13, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
• Officials: Qualified referees, umpires and officials

7. Tournament details

• Entry forms are now available (see point 8 below on where to obtain entry forms)
• Entries close on 30th November 2013 (subject to the receiving of 32 participant entries for each category up to the said date).
• Draw date is on 1st December 2013
• Fixture is available on Venue notice board, TPCA website and Venue website
• Tournament starts on Saturday, 14th December 2013 and ends on Sunday, 15th December 2013. (Match time is 8.30am till 6.00pm)
• Prize presentation is at 6.00pm � immediately after the Finals.

9. Players Responsibility

• Players must report to the referee 15 minutes before their schedule time of play.
• Players must produce their identification card or Mykad to the referee before the start of the first match of the championship
• Players are required to do linesman duties if necessary

11. Protest

All protest must be submitted in writing by the player 30 minutes after the match to the honorary referee. Such protest must be accompanied by a fees of RM50 which is refundable if this protest is upheld, otherwise if will be forfeited. The decision of the Jury will be final.The panel of the Jury will comprise of Hon. Referee, Sports representative of TPCA and Tournament official.


12. Condition

The Organisers will not be responsible for any injury sustained at any time by any player or official arising from his/her participation in the above championship. Any cost incurred for medical treatment or hospitalization shall be borne by the player or official concerned.
